When the Ahava Foundation installed a tube well in this village, the village folk spoke to us about the challenges the children faced in this remote part of Sri Lanka, to attend School. We were made aware that most of them had to walk more than 2 kilometers each way to attend school.

We then, identified school going children from the most poor and affected families in this village. After a careful study along with photographs of them with their families, we chose 21 school going  children who needed this Gift of a bicycle. We harnessed support from friends, well-wishers, family members and once again the principal Donor who came forward to help us in this project was the C3 Church, Casey, Australia and we wholeheartedly thank and bless them for their invaluable support.
